Dusty rose holds lotus blooms in emerald teal across this pomegranate modal saree, each one hand stamped in the Bagru tradition. The lotus is the flower of purity, rising clean from the water, and its upright repeat gives the drape a serene rhythm. Modal keeps the saree fluid and light, and the colour glows softly as the pleats settle. A teal green pallu closes the look with a cool, watery depth. Lovely for temple visits, pujas and calm festive mornings.

The craft
Pomegranate Modal Silk
Bagru, a printing town near Jaipur, has been home to the Chhipa community of hand block printers for roughly three centuries. Its colours come from the earth: madder root for red, indigo leaf for blue, pomegranate rind and turmeric for yellow, and a fermented iron syahi for black, all fixed on cloth first treated with harda. Pomegranate modal gives that centuries old craft a fluid, softly slubbed cloth that carries the warmth of tussar silk with the easy drape of modal, so every block reads crisply while the saree moves lightly.
